Slate is one of the long lasting roof material, sometimes even for hundreds of years as a roof covering for houses, construction of railway network, industries, etc. Slate is a natural rock that is mined and cut to become a form of shingles. A slate roof is installed by a Slater. The beauty and durability of roof is improved by handling natural slate with the help of building professionals. Slate can last for several hundred years with increased durability and appearance of the slate roof. The slate flooring may be slippery at the time of raining. The slate was extensively used for blackboards and individual writing slates.
We assisted with three different slates which include:
Welsh Penrhyn Slate:- The Penrhyn Heather Blue slate is one of the most widely used slates with exceptional durability. The Penrhyn slate is a non-fading slate. Welsh slate is extracted from the world’s finest deposits. The highest S1 grade is received from the American Society for Testing and Materials, so that highest grade in the British Standards is achieved. The purple hint and fine-grained riven textured Penrhyn slate are enhanced by subtle variations in colour and natural markings. The Penrhyn slate is easy to work with and requires little maintenance. Transport technology devised in Wales was used by slate mines all over the world.
Welsh Cwt-y-Bugail Slate:- The Cwt-y-Bugail slates are extracted from the best Natural Welsh slate vein from the Ffestiniog region in North Wales. The Cwt-y-Bugail slate is Dark Blue / Grey in colour with high durability.
Spanish Slate:- Spain is the leading producer of natural roof slate worldwide. Variety of slates are produced by Spain all over the world. The quality of producing slate can be tremendously varied.
Canadian Slate:- Canadian slate has a good reputation in the industry because we can use Canadian slates shades as a substitute for Welsh slate. The geological properties of Canadian slate are identical to that of the slate extracted in Wales, which is also of the Cambrian age.
